Three years ago, after a transformative journey in the Himalayas, I embarked on a mission to create Dhaarmik communities across sacred sites in Bhaarata. My vision was to build spaces where like-minded people could live in harmony with Vaidik principles—performing Yagya together, embracing Ayurvedic lifestyles, nurturing Indic arts, and upholding the tenets of Sanaatana Dharma. The goal was to co-own, co-create, and co-manage these spaces, integrating our ancient traditions with modern living.
However, I soon realized that to turn this vision into reality, a robust infrastructure was needed. This led me to the concept of Real Estate Tokenization, which inspired the founding of the REET Real Estate Entry Tokenizer Community—a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) focused on empowering individuals across Bhaarata and the world to co-create and co-govern Dhaarmik spaces. Tokenization offers an innovative way to make real estate investments more accessible and transparent, while enabling community ownership of sacred and culturally significant spaces.
As the Director of BhooVaanijyak Consultancy Services, with an academic background from IIT Kanpur and IIM Calcutta, I have had the privilege of working in diverse fields like Web 3, travel, and real estate, after a 6 years stint wth Royal Dutch Shell within their Indian FMCG & Retail Business . My entrepreneurial focus has always been on harnessing technology to provide sustainable real estate solutions that align with Dhaarmik ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) values. In today’s world, creating ethical, community-driven real estate solutions is crucial, and our tokenized model helps in achieving exactly that.
Dhaarmik Communities in Urban Societies
One of the key insights from this journey is that creating Dhaarmik communities must begin within urban spaces. As the saying goes, “Goodwill begins with those around you.” I used my own housing community as a testing ground for this concept. What started as a simple effort to connect like-minded individuals turned into a thriving society known for hosting grand spiritual events, including the largest Ratha Yatra in Noida and a massive Raamotsava with over 108 varieties of Prasaadam.
We also initiated Geeta classes for children in collaboration with Vrindaavan Chandrodaya Mandir, and sages have recognized the unique Dhaarmik aura of our community. These activities have not only fostered social cohesion but also demonstrated the transformative power of Dharma in urban settings.
Dharma and Innovation in Real Estate
In my professional journey, Dharma has been the driving force, shaping how I approach real estate with a focus on ethics and innovation. Having traveled more than 40,000 kilometers and visited over 500 ancient sites across India, I have gained a deep appreciation for our rich heritage. This understanding, combined with modern expertise in tokenization and decentralized finance, has enabled me to develop a sustainable real estate model rooted in the ancient values of trust and community.
Research has shown that community participation is critical to sustainable housing, and this aligns perfectly with our model, where local stakeholders are deeply involved in the co-creation process. In addition, blockchain technology ensures transparency, while AI and data analytics provide real-time insights for decision-making, helping us build spaces that meet the needs of the community in a sustainable way.
Tokenization and Sustainable Real Estate
Tokenization allows us to integrate modern technology with ancient principles, enabling Dhaarmik communities to own and govern sacred spaces. By digitizing real estate assets, we offer the potential for secure, fractional ownership, where individuals can co-create housing that promotes well-being, spirituality, and sustainability. This aligns with global efforts like the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—specifically, promoting affordable housing (SDG 11), fostering clean energy initiatives (SDG 7), and addressing climate action (SDG 13).
Additionally, AI-enabled governance models and multi-criteria decision-making frameworks ensure that the real estate developments under the REET Community adhere to Dhaarmik principles while remaining financially viable and environmentally responsible. These tools help us create communities that thrive not only on a spiritual level but also economically.
A Unified Vision of Shree Raama Raajya
Our efforts align with the broader vision of Shree Raama Raajya, a unifying concept that represents the ideal of Dharma as lived by Shree Raama. In this vision, society thrives on principles of ethics, harmony, and justice. As we continue to expand the REET Community across Bhaarata and globally, the relevance of higher Dharma becomes increasingly evident. This isn’t just about building communities; it’s about creating a sustainable, spiritually grounded ecosystem where Dharma guides all decisions.
